This book has three short mysteries, investigated by young detective Jack Lime. Jack solves cases and in return, his clients have to promise him to do a future favor. This book was a quick read. The three stories had humor in them, were decent mysteries and had good characters in them. I enjoyed this book. I could see MS and HS boys especially enjoying this book.

Look out, middle schoolers, because Jack Lime is in the midst of sleuthing and solving some serious school mysteries. He's an old-school detective in a new school world of technology and treachery. Jack Lime is thoroughly likeable and you definitely want to have him on your side. Although Jack is in high school, the reading level seems more for the middle school crowd.
I needed this book fairly quickly and at the most reasonable price for a used book in good condition. That is exactly what I got and my son finished his book--and his book report--in plenty of time!
